On a beautiful Saturday morning Tom and Paul worked with 45 Catalonians to help them define high impact problems in their region and brainstorm citizen engagement challenges that would lead towards co-developing solutions.
NYC Smart City Conference and Future Mobility Workshops May 7-11
In cooperation with RVO (The Netherlands Enterprise Agency) and several Future Mobility partners, the CITIXL hosted a workshop at Smart City NY to demonstrate Dutch transportation innovations and best practices to a global audience.
The City of Daegu sent a small delegation to Amsterdam to learn more about how we engage our citizens and co-develop sustainable Smart City Solutions. In cooperation with Amsterdam Smart City we hosted a two day tour to inform and inspire.
The CITIXL in co-operation with the Amsterdam CTO office and Smart Taipei sent a four member team to Smart City Expo Conference Taipei to identify common problems, survey technology and rapid prototype solutions in two workshops.
Tom and Paul visited Seoul and Daegu on their way to Taipei to talk to the Seoul Digital Foundation and meet with Daegu Smart City officials to learn more about their projects and explore potential innovation exchanges.
Early this year The CITIXL hosted a workshop with the CTO office, Data Labs w/ Seoul Digital Foundation (SDF), Yonsei University to scope common issues in light of cultural differences and explore how we can work together to solve serious urban problems.
